Job Overview
TCH Omaha branch is looking for a skilled Warehouse /Order Puller to prepare customer orders for shipment.
Essential Job Functions
- Pull product from stock for customer orders, mark tag numbers as required
- Refill stock locations from overstock
- Pack and mark orders for delivery drivers, UPS, FedEx, Will Call or LTL shipments
- Pack and tag Door-In-A-Box orders for delivery or shipment
- Unload shipments from carriers such as UPS, Fedex, LTL, etc.
- Utilize warehouse equipment to unload trucks (pallet jack, forklift, etc.)
- Verify that product received is in acceptable condition prior to signing off on BOL
- Check product into TCH computer system using a purchase order and packing list
- Stage Special Orders and transfer items for other TCH warehouses in proper locations
- Fill stock locations with product received in
- Assist with customer deliveries as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Skills Requirements
- Good math skills (count, add, subtract)
- Basic knowledge of UPS and FedEx shipping programs
- General knowledge of computer systems in a Windows/ Google based environment
- Basic understanding of product nomenclature, preferred but not required
- Basic experience with warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks
- Forklift certification or willingness to be certified
- Favorable results from a pre-employment drug screen and physical
- Clean driving record
Working Conditions
Warehouse environment is subject to temperature changes, on your feet most of the day. Also involves: bending, twisting, kneeling, stooping. squatting. Lift 10-50 lbs, regularly, 100 lbs , occasionally.
