Customer Account Specialist

TCK (Twin City Knitting) is an American manufacturer born and raised in the foothills of North Carolina. Founded in 1961, TCK began knitting performance athletic socks and quickly established itself as the industry leader for on-field team socks. We have outfitted athletes’ feet for generations and have built an unrivaled brand loyalty with our customers. Over the last decade we have successfully expanded the TCK brand beyond team sports and into multiple additional markets including: collegiate bookstore, private label, national retailers, and tourism. Today we are looking to expand our customer service team to assist in servicing these additional markets.

Summary: The Customer Account Specialist will support TCK’s non-team markets with exceptional customer service. You will interact with our sales representatives, distributors, and customers to support orders all the way from purchase to delivery. You’ll have the chance to collaborate across teams and help maintain our commitment to innovation and quality. Duties and Responsibilities:

· Communicate daily with sales reps, distributors, and customers both verbally and in written format

· Pulling orders from multiple platforms and entering them into Microsoft Navision

· Calculate appropriate royalty rates when required

· Communicate daily with the production team to track and ensure timely shipment of orders

· Work with shipping department to ensure correct shipping requirements and case markings are met

· Collaborate regularly with merchandising and graphics team on design/sample requests, item setup, and general customer requests

· Assist with answering calls and entering orders in team division when overflow is needed

· 1-2 years’ experience of demonstrated successful customer service on the phone and through email

· Excellent attention to detail

· Proficient in MS Excel

· Creative thinker/problem solver

· Self-motivated and driven to take initiative

Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and sit at least 50% of the time, walk, use hands, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to balance, stoop, and bend. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move sample bags up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, ability to adjust focus, and ability to see color.

Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is mainly located in an office environment but will regularly be exposed to work near a warehouse. The employee may occasionally be required to work in our manufacturing environment.

The noise level in the work environment may occasionally be loud.
