Summary: The Sales Account Representative/Business Development Specialist is responsible to sell TCK products to existing and new accounts. We have thousands of existing accounts, but some of those relationships have fallen through the cracks. This person will reengage those accounts and maintain regular contact with decision makers to secure POs. This role is not limited to inside sales though, a portion of this role will be prospecting and cold calling new opportunities. We are looking for an energetic, self-motivated, positive team player who knows how to smile through the phone, communicate clearly, and ask thoughtful questions.
This position is salary commission.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Extensive cold calling and possible in person visits for the purpose of developing a buying relationship.
- Documenting leads, leads progress, and prospecting through our sales database.
- Prospecting and developing new and existing accounts through phone calls, emails, trade shows, and LinkedIn.
- Tasked with increasing revenue by initiating regular contact with existing and potential clients.
- Present and promote TCK’s products to existing and potential clients to increase sales.
- Excellent organizational and reporting abilities, with weekly reports to management.
- Accurately and thoroughly complete sales forms, documents, and reports.
- Attend, via phone, email, or in person, regular sales meetings as necessary.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Experience as a sales professional, with demonstrated experience in growing sales
- High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Proven ability to meet and exceed specified sales goals
- Strong and demonstrated relationship building and business development skills
- Familiar with time and call cycle management
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent customer service and listening skills
- Strong drive to accomplish goals and objectives
- Competitive desire to grow the TCK product line
- Clear, common-sense thinker with critical reasoning skills. Able to obtain information, evaluate alternatives, seek advice, make recommendations, and act
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, email).
- Demonstrated skills of collaborative and cooperative relations with management and colleagues
Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and sit at least 50% of the time, walk, use hands, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to balance, stoop, and bend. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move sample bags up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, ability to adjust focus, and ability to see color.
Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is mainly located in an office environment but will regularly be exposed to work near a warehouse. The employee may occasionally be required to work in our manufacturing environment.
The noise level in the work environment may occasionally be loud.
