Shifts may range from days, swing, midnight, on call or flex, based on our clients' current needs. Must have weekend availability!
Job Requirements Required:
- Completed High School Diploma or GED
- 18 for Non-Commission
- 21 for Commission
- Must be able to stand and/or walk for an entire work shift, move or lift objects up to 20 lbs.
- Must be able to have and be able to maintain any applicable licenses or certifications
- Must own weapon & duty belt for armed post
- Personal vehicle for shelter and to be on-time
Preferred Work Experience:
- Previous work experience with the public in a service setting
- Previous security, military, correctional or police officer experience is preferred, but not required for most positions.

Summary
As a Level 2 Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our organization. Reporting to the Security Manager, your core skills in security and conflict management will be essential in addressing incidents and ensuring compliance with safety protocols. Premium skills in first aid, law enforcement, and surveillance will enhance your effectiveness in this role. Additionally, your relevant skills in CCTV operation and loss prevention will contribute to safeguarding our assets. CANDIDATES WITH CONSTRUCTION SECURITY EXPERIENCE ARE HIGHLY DESIRED. Responsibilities
- Monitor and secure premises to prevent unauthorized access and ensure safety.
- Respond to incidents and manage conflicts effectively, utilizing conflict management skills.
- Operate surveillance equipment, including CCTV, to maintain situational awareness.
- Collaborate with law enforcement as needed and assist in loss prevention efforts.
- Maintain accurate records of incidents and daily activities for reporting purposes.
- Operate out of your vehicle and do routine patrols, scanning checkpoints, and making reports- YOU MAY WORK IN THE ELEMENTS
- Having proper gear, e.g. boots, duty belt, and flashlight helps your chances of being hired.

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 – 42 per week
