What are the responsibilities and job description for the Powder Coater position at Twin City Staffing?
We are hiring a skilled Powder Coating Technician to join our team! In this role, you'll be responsible for preparing and powder painting a variety of surfaces, including steel, aluminum, and other metals. If you have experience applying protective powder coatings and working in a production environment, we’d love to hear from you!
Location: Ramsey, MN
Wage: $19 - $25/hr.
Hours: 7 am - 3:30 pm or 7:30 am – 4 pm, Monday - Friday

Duties of the powder coating technician:
- Prepare and powder coat a variety of surfaces, including steel, aluminum, and other shop metals
- Apply protective powder coatings to equipment, metalwork, and other surfaces
- Ensure proper coverage and uniform finish
- Inspect coated items for quality assurance
- Safely operate powder coating equipment and follow all safety protocols
Requirements of the powder coating technician:
- Prior experience with powder coating and surface preparation
- Knowledge of powder coating materials and techniques
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs regularly
- Must pass a pre-employment drug and background screening
