What are the responsibilities and job description for the driver/laborer for construction work position at Twin County Builders?
Driver/worker on construction crew needs to have valid DL with a safe driving record, good attitude, safety conscious, obey crewleader`s direction, willing to exceed in framing new homes, remodel existing homes, roofing & siding, & decks. Requirements are to pick up 1 or 2 coworkers at their home with personal vehicle before meeting at our shop at 6 Am. We pay drivers half hr extra if he picked up men with his personal vehicle & meet at shop at 6 am & half hr to take workers home after shop with personal vehicle. If driver arrives at shop at 6:01 or later he losses his 15 min bonus driving pay for the morning. Also we pay drivers to drive company vehicle which usually amounts to .5 to .75 hrs pay day. So normal days are maybe 1.5 hrs driving time plus 10 hour working days = 11.5 hrs per day x $18 per hr =$202.50 daily X 5 days includes OT after 40 hrs= $1192.50 weekly. Driver should be pd when you leave your house in the morning till home again in eve, subtract half hr for lunch break. That leaves a potential of up to $60,000 or more of income per year.
