Full Job Description: Water Truck Driver
Rate: Commotion
Primary Responsibilities/Essential Functions:

  • Hauling production, flow back and fresh water to and from various locations.
  • Drive and operate equipment in a safe and professional manner.
  • Properly document all Company, Federal, State, and Customer documentation/paperwork as required by law and or established policy in a clear and legible manner.
  • Able to effectively and professionally communicate with dispatch and on-sight customer representative to locate least intrusive and safest place to park company equipment while on job sight.
  • Able to troubleshoot and as the need arises perform minor repairs to equipment.
  • Performs other related duties, as assigned.

Qualifications: (we are willing to train the right candidate)

  • Class A CDL
  • Tanker Endorsement
  • Applicant shall agree to initial Drug/Alcohol testing and random testing thereafter.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a current and valid DOT medical certificate.
  • Criminal background check and safety performance verification will be conducted.
  • Clean MVR (2 or less traffic violations in current 3-year period). No DUIs or DWIs.
  • Must be willing to work flexible hours.
  • Must be able to speak/write English.
  • Must be able distinguish emergency signals and instructions while on duty.
  • Must be able to repetitively sit, lift, stoop, bend, squat, kneel, reach and crawl.
  • Must be able to repeatedly lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to work in all outdoor elements for extended periods of time.
  • Confined Space Entry may be required to accomplish tasks for some clients when applicable.
  • Be able to wear PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
  • Must be able to climb ladders, and work from stationary platforms from elevated heights.
  • Must be capable of working extended hours and variable shifts.
  • Must be fully vaccinated for covid-19.

Knowledge:

o Knowledge of and ability to safely secure loads for transport.

o Some knowledge of first aid and applicable safety precautions.

o Ability to interface well with the clients, dispatch, and the office staff.

o Ability to see and record written data and information.

o Ability to communicate information in writing so others will understand.

o Ability to effectively understand and communicate verbally with others.

o Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.

o Ability to work independently with little supervision.

o Ability to ensure that proper safety and incident reporting procedures are followed.

o Ability to perform a variety of tasks involving strenuous manual labor.

o Ability to meet delivery schedule with dependability and consistency.

Pay: $75.00 - $300.00 per day
