What are the responsibilities and job description for the Morning preschool teacher position at Twin Lake Children's Center, Inc?
Twin Lake Children's Center is looking for a preschool teacher to add to our already incredible team. Part time or full time position available.
Responsibilities include:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for preschool children.
- Create a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow.
- Provide guidance and support to children in their social, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's progress and any concerns.
- Use behavior management techniques to promote positive behavior and address challenging behaviors.
- Ensure the well-being and welfare of all children in the classroom.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive learning environment.
Skills:
- Experience working with preschool-aged children.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong behavior management skills.
- Knowledge of child development principles and early childhood education practices.
- Ability to create engaging and educational activities for young children.
- Familiarity with math concepts appropriate for preschoolers.
- Experience working in a daycare or similar setting is preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and parents.
