The Maintenance Director performs maintenance and construction work around the facility. He or she will maintain the grounds, parking lots and equipment; perform cleaning tasks as needed in all areas, as well as paint, plaster and inspect equipment to make sure it is properly functioning.
Responsibilities of Maintenance Director:
- Work on the cooling, plumbing, gas, electrical, mechanical, oxygen and communication systems.
- Perform carpentry duties as needed.
- Paint, plaster and refinish items as needed.
- Perform heavy duty cleaning.
- Change screens and storm windows.
- Inspect all equipment and systems regularly to ensure proper functioning and safety.
Requirements/Qualifications:
- HS Diploma or GED
- 1-2 years of relevant experience
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to make decisions independently.
- Ability to understand and follow both written and oral instructions.
