Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse Manager to lead our nursing team in providing exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a commitment to quality healthcare, and the ability to manage a diverse team of healthcare professionals. Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the nursing department, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
- Manage and mentor nursing staff, providing guidance on best practices in patient care.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate nursing protocols and policies to enhance patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care plans effectively.
- Conduct performance evaluations and facilitate ongoing training for nursing staff.
- Ensure proper medication administration and adherence to safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate patient records and oversee laboratory procedures as necessary.
- Address any issues related to patient care or staff performance promptly and effectively.
- Promote a culture of safety, quality, and respect within the workplace.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
- Familiarity with laboratory procedures, including spinal taps and sterile processing.
- Knowledge of occupational health principles and practices is a plus.
- Experience in pediatrics, ICU, OR, or airway management is highly desirable.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
