What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shipping and Receiving Clerk position at TWIN MRO?
As a Shipping / Receiving Clerk, you will be tasked with handling all Aerospace parts that come into and leave the building per customer request. In order to be successful, you must match part paperwork to parts after receiving customer approval and prioritize the shipping of parts based upon due date and visual aids. Performing basic shipping/packing duties and filing related paperwork are core responsibilities of the role.
Required Qualifications:
- Previous experience with shipping, receiving, and documentation processes of manufactured parts
- Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 lbs, with bending, stretching and overhead lifting required
- Must have prior experience handling common shop tools including but not limited to pallet jacks, forklifts, hand trucks, etc
- Basic understanding of part paperwork and priority lists in a shop setting
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with Aerospace parts and related paperwork
- Experience within a manufacturing setting, preferably Aerospace
- Experience with database and/or operations software
- Experience managing inventory, including the performance of cycle counting
