What are the responsibilities and job description for the Direct Support Professional (DSP) position at Twin Oaks Community Home?
Direct Care Support Professionals are the front-line staff who assist and support the people served by the Department of Mental Health with all of their daily life activities. This Position is for Direct Support Professional at a facility in Booneville, MS. Duties include but not limited to: Cleaning, cooking, bathing, and/or assisting with toileting needs of persons with intellectual disabilities. C-Shift also performs cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, etc.
Twin Oaks Community Home has openings on C-shift which is from 10:30pm to 7:00am, weekend work is required. Overtime is required from time to time. Direct Support Professionals facilitate a safe and therapeutic environment which enhances independence in living, learning, and working. They make a difference in the lives of those they serve every day. Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED. We offer bi-monthly pay, paid holidays, state retirement, and personal & medical leave.
