What are the responsibilities and job description for the Direct Support Professional - Youth position at Twin Ports Children Services?
Twin Ports Children Services owns several corporate foster care homes located in the Duluth area and strives to give foster children safety and stability. TPCS is looking for dedicated, compassionate, and consistent DSPs to work 1:1 with the children.
Must be willing/able to work with high behavior adolescents and undergo behavior management training, Handle with Care. This is a hands-on job, where using disengagements/blocking is a regular occurrence on shift. All training is provided upon hire.
Must be 21 years of age or older to apply, variances can be given to applicants younger than 21 but more intense interviews will take place. Driver’s license required.
Must be able to pass background check.
$22-$26 per hour.
Experience in the field preferred but not required.
Shift times are as follows: 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, 11pm-7am.
