Landscape Architect/Designer/Estimator
Twin Resources is a large, high-end design/build construction firm specializing in landscape construction and maintenance.
Position Summary:
Seeking a Landscape Architect/Designer/Estimator with a minimum of five (5) years of experience to join the Design/Build Department.
Required skills and Experience:
- 5 years’ experience in Residential or Commercial Building.
- 5 years’ experience in construction Cost Estimating of projects of various sizes, from $250,000 to over $10,000,000.
- Ability to quickly read and understand blueprints/plans.
- Computer knowledge and efficiency, including Microsoft office. Strong knowledge of Excel is required, and AutoCAD is a must.
- Ability to work with a high volume of work within tight deadlines and thrive under pressure.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Building and maintaining collaborative relationships with new and current clients.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a Field of Major Study (if applicable): B.A. /B.S. /M.L.A. (Degree in Landscape Architecture, or Horticulture preferred)
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Sketchup, Lumion and MS Office are a must
- Proven experience with construction documentation
- Ability to produce high-quality graphics and computerized models in Lumion
- Candidates shall have the skills noted above, plus 5 or more years of qualified practice in a design firm
- Applicants shall possess knowledge with project estimating, contracts, submittals and change orders
- Candidate may be required to work directly with clients, architects, and estimating staff for the coordination of projects
- Additional requirements include strong communication and organizational skills, the ability to work in a collaborative environment, participate in design and construction meetings, and demonstrate creative thinking
