Position Summary : The Maintenance Technician position is responsible for the repair and preventative maintenance of equipment as well as the general upkeep of the facility.
Qualifications (include but are not limited to ) :
- Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatics; generally acquired through technical training or through previous experience.
- Good analytical skills; good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work well with others and independently as job needs require.
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to work with chemicals.
- Ability to wear a respirator, be in a confined space, follow lock-out / tag-out procedures.
- Willing to certify on forklift.
- Must actively participate in discussions of equipment, repair, and process improvements.
- Must work in a safe and professional manner at all times
- Incase of emergencies must be willing to work off-shifts and weekends when needed; willing to rotate on-call duties with team.
