Furnace Operator

Twin Resources is currently recruiting for Furnace Operators for both 1st and 2nd shift for our customer in Springfield, Ohio. These are permanent opportunities working either 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. or 6 p.m. to 6 a.m.

Responsibilities:

• Load/unload parts from furnace.
• Ability to identify all parts, verify part numbers, and production numbers (will have material to reference). Ensure loads are processed at specified time and temperature.
• Recognize if paperwork is incorrect and follow appropriate procedure.
• Work with all operators to ensure 5S completions rates are above 90%.
• Document all discrepancies (PMCF, PC Chart- ensuring part number and process times match)
• Understand and follow the Production Control Chart, ensure all checklists/preventative maintenance required are completed for the day
• Communicate changes in procedures to the lead operator or department manager
• Utilize different software programs to report maintenance repair requests, record work observations (safety/cleanliness), and reference work instructions

Required Experience:

• 3 years of furnace operations experience
• Good work ethic
