Paraeducator I (TK) - 7 hrs/day (Madison/PC#253976, PC#253977)
Position Summary: Assists one or more teachers with one-on-one or small group tutoring and/or in the direct care, supervision, and support of the children in a classroom setting. Maintains and prepares classroom materials, attendance records, health forms, and student files. Provides instructional assistance that reinforces learning to individuals or small groups of students.

Work Year: 182 work days/year
Employee Type: Full-Time
Salary: $18.31 - $24.21 per hour in 9 annual steps. Salary placement is based on experience (new hire maximum of step 5).
Location: Madison Elementary
Hours: 7 hours/day; 5 days/week
Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, and Employee Life Insurance available for employees who work 4 hours per day (Full district contribution for 6 hours/day; 50% contribution for 4-5.99 hours/day).
Education and Experience: The position requires the equivalent of a high school diploma plus experience working with students in a classroom or equivalent environment and successful completion of a competency exam.
Licenses and Certifications: May require a valid driver’s license. Approved competency examination. May require a valid First Aid/CPR card.
