Job Summary:

The Manager of Marketing plays a vital role in the execution of the company’s marketing initiatives by managing marketing staff, overseeing campaign development, and ensuring the seamless implementation of marketing efforts. Reporting to the Director of Marketing & Sales, this role focuses on translating strategy into action, driving lead generation, enhancing brand awareness, and supporting organizational growth. This position emphasizes cross-departmental collaboration, working closely with sales, customer service, and operations teams to achieve shared goals. The marketing team’s role in improving the customer experience and driving successful business outcomes—measured by achieving company sales goals—is crucial.

You successfully fulfill the following essential duties and responsibilities:

Team Leadership:

  • Build and manage an effective marketing team, including hiring, coaching, and conducting performance evaluations.
  • Hold regular one-on-one meetings to ensure alignment with goals and responsibilities.
  • Handle disciplinary actions and terminations compassionately and effectively as needed.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Collaboration between marketing, sales, customer service and operations leadership and teams is essential to achieving company goals and revenue targets. Each department plays a critical role, and their success is interdependent. A successful marketing leader will:

  • proactively foster a "team first" culture, building trust and ensuring open communication across departments.
  • work closely with the sales team to align and integrate efforts, including supporting outreach and in-market activities.

  • Marketing Execution:
  • Oversee the development and execution of a cohesive marketing calendar for campaigns across digital, print, social, and other media.
  • Manage and contribute to content creation, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
  • Maintain and enhance the company's brand identity across all platforms and marketing collateral.
  • Campaign Management:
  • Act as an internal marketing consultant, ensuring alignment of campaign goals with organizational objectives.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Marketing & Sales to ensure campaigns meet strategic goals.
  • Digital Campaign Optimization:

Achieving company goals requires an omnichannel marketing approach, complemented by the adoption of new technologies and digital marketing strategies to maximize ROI. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of digital marketing and targeting strategies and excel at leveraging both internal teams and external resources to deliver results. While expertise in every area isn’t necessary, a foundational understanding of the concepts and the ability to effectively manage resources and drive outcomes is essential.

  • Develop and execute targeted, data-driven digital marketing campaigns across multiple platforms (e.g., social media, search, email, and display) to drive customer acquisition and retention.
  • Manage and optimize customer journeys through marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot) to increase engagement and conversions.
  • Drive e-commerce sales and improve conversion rates through A/B testing, landing page optimization, and user experience enhancements.
  • Create and scale organic and paid social media strategies tailored to consumer behavior in B2C markets.
  • Implement and manage search engine optimization (SEO) and search engine marketing (SEM) strategies, including keyword analysis, on-page/off-page tactics, and pay-per-click (PPC) campaign management.
  • Budget Oversight:
  • Assist in the development and monitoring of the annual marketing budget.
  • Balance cost containment with the pursuit of innovation and quality.
  • Continuously refine budget allocation to prioritize high-performing initiatives, maximizing ROI and driving growth.
  • Research & Analysis:
  • Centralize and report on competitive, subscriber, and industry trends.
  • Monitor KPIs and provide regular reports on marketing performance; calculate ROI to ensure marketing efforts are aligned with business goals.
  • Leverage customer data and analytics for segmentation and personalized marketing.
  • Vendor Management:
  • Cultivate relationships with external partners and vendors, ensuring alignment with expectations and timely delivery of work products.
  • Continuous Improvement:
  • Achieve and exceed performance metrics and maintain the Twin Valley standards of excellence.
  • Drive efficiencies, streamline processes, and implement automation solutions.
  • Prepare the marketing team and processes to scale as the company grows or expands into new markets.
  • Stay informed on the latest developments in marketing, public relations, and telecommunications.

Requirements:

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in integrated marketing, communications, or relevant field of study.
  • Proven experience in marketing management, with a focus on campaign execution, modern marketing tactics and automations, and staff development. Experience in working closely with B2B and B2C sales teams preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge in effective use of marketing tools and platforms.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills.
  • Telecommunications product and industry knowledge preferred
