The Carpentry and Facilities Maintenance Technician will perform routine maintenance, undertake general repairs, and tackle a range of other practical tasks across our facilities in Winooski, Essex, and Williston. We Offer
The Carpentry and Facilities Maintenance Technician will perform routine maintenance, undertake general repairs, and tackle a range of other practical tasks across our facilities in Winooski, Essex, and Williston. This position works closely with the Facilities Project Manager to be sure the facilities are maintained properly. This individual will have:
- Knowledge of general carpentry and repair
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Supporting any general repairs that do not require a specialized technician
- Performing routine maintenance on building systems
- Cleaning and assisting with upkeep of the facilities
- Obtaining services of outside contractors when repairs require specialized technicians
- Working closely with the Facilities Project Manager and supporting initiatives assigned by them
- Performing other duties as assigned
