About The Role
A leading creative company specialising in dance and animation productions is seeking a talented Senior Composer to join their team. This role involves creating original compositions for dynamic performances that blend movement and visual storytelling. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in composing for various media, with a particular focus on dance and animation.
Responsibilities:
- Compose original music for dance and animation acts, including two segments of 2-4 minutes each
- Create instrumental or orchestral music overlays for existing tracks
- Incorporate sound effects to enhance animated storytelling, similar to film scoring techniques
- Perform simple editing tasks related to the musical compositions
- Proven experience as a composer, particularly in dance, animation, or film scoring
- Strong portfolio demonstrating versatility in musical styles and ability to enhance visual storytelling
- Proficiency in music composition software and digital audio workstations
- Excellent understanding of sound design and its application in enhancing animated content
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
