Twin Med, LLC. is currently searching for a talented Warehouse Shipping Clerk in our Distribution Center located in Van Buren Charter, MI .The successful applicant must be able to maintain high levels of accuracy in day-to-day warehouse operations, and provide impeccable customer service to our clients. General summary of duties
- Participate in all safety programs and required training.
- Demonstrate behaviors with a safety focus for all employees and the community.
- Engage in all plant initiatives and identify near miss incidents.
- Safely operate cart/forklifts to unload/load pallets and IBCs from/on trailers and containers.
- Accurately enter shipping and receiving data into Scale/GP.
- Troubleshooting issues related to Scale/GP transactions.
- Perform weekly cycle counts of inventory.
- Perform job duties to satisfactory levels in support of the business and the team.
- Prompt arrival at start of shift and appropriate breaks.
- Perform janitorial duties to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Other duties as assigned by the Company.
Qualifications
- Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be able to handle multiple priorities.
- Must have exceptional attention to detail.
- Knowledge of Great Plains/Manhattan Scale a plus.
- Ability to complete forms and use RF scanner (Manhattan Scale System).
- Able to work in a safe work environment by complying with environmental, health and safety standards.
- Work overtime as required including weekends.
- Give and receive positive and constructive feedback in a respectful and professional manner.
- Able to wear all required personal protective equipment.
- Current, valid US driver’s license.
- Strong work ethic.
- Stand 80% of the time.
Education/Experience
- Minimum 2 years related warehouse experience preferred.
- 2 years’ experience operating a stock picker and/or forklift preferred.
- Must be certified as a forklift operator within 60 calendar days of start date.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Distribution industry experience preferred.
