Position Overview : The Senior Manager, Supply Chain Planning at TwinMed will lead the planning team to ensure seamless supply chain processes across all distribution centers. Reporting directly to the VP of Supply Chain, this role involves developing and executing demand planning, inventory management, and supply chain strategies to meet customer service levels and financial objectives. A key responsibility will be to establish and facilitate the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process to align supply chain operations with organizational goals. This position requires a forward-thinking, analytical leader who can drive operational excellence and foster cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Integrated Business Planning (IBP) :
• Develop, implement, and facilitate the Integrated Business Planning process to ensure alignment between demand, supply, and financial objectives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and finance, to drive the IBP process and support strategic decision-making.
• Demand Planning and Forecasting :
• Develop and maintain demand forecasts using Slim4 advanced planning tools and methodologies to support inventory and supply chain decisions.
• Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to integrate market insights into forecasting processes.
• Inventory Management :
• Oversee inventory planning to ensure optimal stock levels across multiple tier-1 and tier-2 distribution centers.
• Implement strategies to minimize stockouts, excess inventory, and obsolescence.
• Ensure product availability and high customer service levels across all distribution centers.
• Plan Execution and Backorder Management :
• Monitor the execution of supply chain plans to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
• Manage backorder monitoring and resolution to minimize customer impact and ensure timely fulfillment.
• Supply Chain Optimization :
• Analyze supply chain data to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
• Develop and execute plans to optimize network inventory levels and improve supply chain performance.
• New Product Introduction :
• Work with commercial and strategic sourcing teams to manage the introduction of new products into the supply chain and phase-out of old products.
• Ensure seamless integration of new products into existing inventory and supply chain processes.
• Team Leadership :
• Lead and mentor the supply chain planning team, fostering professional growth and performance excellence.
• Set clear goals and expectations for the team, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
• Supplier Collaboration :
• Partner with procurement and supplier management teams to ensure alignment of supply with demand.
• Address supply chain disruptions and develop contingency plans to mitigate risks.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration :
• Work closely with purchasing, logistics, finance, and operations teams to ensure alignment on supply chain strategies and execution.
• Provide insights and recommendations to senior management on supply chain performance and opportunities for improvement.
• Performance Monitoring :
• Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) related to demand planning, inventory levels, and supply chain efficiency.
• Utilize tools such as Power BI, Slim4 and Excel Power Query for data analysis and reporting.
• Continuous Improvement :
• Identify and implement best practices in supply chain planning and inventory management.
• Drive initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction.
• Other duties as assigned.
