Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Porter to join our team. The Porter plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facility. This position involves various tasks that ensure a welcoming environment for our guests and staff. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness in all common areas, including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and outdoor spaces.
• Assist with the setup and breakdown of events or meetings as required.
• Collect and dispose of trash and recyclables throughout the facility.
• Perform routine inspections of the premises to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards.
• Support other staff members with various tasks as needed to ensure smooth operations.
• Respond promptly to requests from guests or management regarding cleanliness or maintenance issues.
• Ensure that all cleaning supplies and equipment are properly stored and maintained.

Skills

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning techniques and equipment is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Physical stamina to perform tasks that may involve lifting, bending, standing for long periods, and walking throughout the facility.
• A positive attitude with a willingness to assist others in achieving their goals.

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
