Overview
We are seeking a skilled Tool and Die Maker to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to fabricate and assemble precision tools and dies used in manufacturing processes. This role is crucial for ensuring that our production equipment operates efficiently and meets high-quality standards.
Duties
- Fabricate and assemble tools, dies, and fixtures according to specifications.
- Utilize Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM) techniques to create intricate components.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD models using AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
- Perform machining operations using various tools and equipment, including lathes, mills, and grinders.
- Conduct inspections of finished products using calipers and other measuring instruments to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain tooling inventory and perform routine maintenance on machines.
- Collaborate with engineers and production staff to troubleshoot issues related to tooling or machining processes.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Tool and Die Maker or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in machining techniques and the use of hand tools.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand complex mechanical systems.
- Familiarity with CAD software such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks is highly desirable.
- Experience with Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM) is a plus.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 55 per week
