What are the responsibilities and job description for the Gymnastics Coach Lead Coach position at Twist?

You will be having a positive impact on the children in your community. You will start as an Assistant Coach working directly with the Gymnastics Director . The goal will be to expand your coaching experience and grow into a Lead Coach and hopefully, Program Lead.
Responsibilities:
- Provide gymnastics coaching to students of various ages and skill levels
- Develop and implement training programs to improve gymnastics skills and techniques
- Create a safe and supportive environment for students to learn and grow
- Conduct warm-up exercises, stretching routines, and conditioning drills
- Demonstrate proper form and technique for gymnastics movements
- Monitor and evaluate student progress, providing feedback and guidance for improvement
- Plan and organize gymnastics performances
- Collaborate with other coaches and staff members to ensure a cohesive training program
- Maintain equipment and ensure a clean and organized gymnasium
Requirements:
- Previous or related disciplines such as cheerleading or physical education
- Knowledge of , and safety guidelines
- Ability to effectively communicate with students, parents, and staff members
- Supervise, and train Assistant Coaches
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to motivate and inspire students
- CPR/AED certification preferred
- Experience working with children or in childcare settings is highly desirable
- Ability to climb, swim, and perform physical activities associated with gymnastics coaching
- or basketball is beneficial

Job Types: Part-time, Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 14 – 29 per week
