What are the responsibilities and job description for the Opening Baker position at Twisted Croissant?
Twisted Croissant is seeking a dedicated opening baker to assist and run our morning bake. This is an early start position 2am non peak and 1am peak.
The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to multitask in a fast paced environment. Also, have strong attention to details and share our passion for baking.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Morning bake-off including egg-wash, filling, glazing, etc.
- Scaling & mixing
- Preparing mise en place for stations
- Using proof boxes, ovens, 30 & 60qrt mixers, properly maintaining & working within proper safety standards
- Consistent & punctual attendance
- Maintaining Twisted Croissant’s quality standards & controls
- Communicate clearly with lead baker and fellow team members
- Follow company policies & procedures

- Qualifications:
- Current OR Food Handlers Card
- 2-year commercial baking experience
- Knowledge of proofing yeasted dough and final baking techniques
- Attention to details
- Ability to multi task
- Have basic math skills
- Ability to adapt quickly
- Previous experience working early morning shifts
- Ability to stand and hustle for long periods of time
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour
