The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in crafting a variety of pastries, including cinnamon rolls, brownies, cookies, cupcakes, cheesecakes, and pretzels. This role requires creativity, precision, and the ability to maintain consistent quality while working in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and bake high-quality pastries, including but not limited to:
- Cinnamon rolls
- Brownies
- Cookies
- Cupcakes
- Cheesecakes
- Pretzels
- Develop and refine recipes to ensure exceptional taste and presentation.
- Maintain consistency in portion sizes, flavors, and quality for all baked goods.
- Decorate pastries with precision and creativity to align with Twisted Dough Café’s signature style.
- Manage production schedules to meet daily café needs and custom orders for events.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
- Monitor inventory levels of baking ingredients and assist with ordering supplies.
- Collaborate with the team to create seasonal and special menu items.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or Baker in a café, bakery, or restaurant setting.
- Expertise in baking a variety of pastries, specifically cinnamon rolls, brownies, cookies, cupcakes, cheesecakes, and pretzels.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce consistent results.
- Creative approach to pastry decoration and recipe development.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Ability to work early mornings and flexible hours as needed.
