Position Title: Barista
Qualifications: Experience in beverage and barista operations, and customer service
Reports To: General Manager & Hospitality Manager
Job Goal: To ensure that Two & Company provides exceptional beverages to its customers and great customer service.
Responsibilities:
Provide the best guest experience to all of Two’s guests. Ensure guests have a convenient, caring, and quality experience. Report guest issues and complaints quickly and professionally to management.
Become an expert in drink making recipes and processes and make exceptional quality drinks consistently. Prepare and serve coffee, espresso, cappuccino, tea, juices, smoothies, and other hot and cold beverages.
Greet customers, answer questions, and create a positive customer experience. Get to know regular customers and their preferences.
Maintain clean and organized work area, and restock supplies as needed. Clean equipment, utensils, and dishes.
Track inventory and communicate need to order supplies.
Operate cash registers and record sales. Adhere to cash handling policies.
Follow health and safety guidelines and report any potential safety hazards or employee accidents to management.
Be knowledgeable about coffee bean origins, brewing techniques, and new equipment. Also be able to communicate product information clearly and confidently.
Work closely with other baristas to take orders and provide timely service. They should also be able to work efficiently and remain composed under stress.
Support catering events and special events that may occur outside of normal business hours, including fundraisers and social events.
Consistently adhere to Two’s standard of excellence. Two’s 7 Touchpoints to Hospitality.
Become a member of Two’s overall culture fostering a team first environment. Participate in regular team meetings.
Communicate effectively with Hospitality team, Kitchen team, and Education team.
Must be willing to work weekend shifts.
