Overview :
Two Barrels is hiring a Senior DevOps Voip Engineer for $150,000 / year. You will be a traditional company employee. This is a full time, 40 hour / week M-F position with company benefits. This is a remote position. Our main office is in Spokane WA, and we have satellite offices in Austin TX and Salt Lake City UT.
We are seeking a DevOps VoIP Engineer with advanced expertise in Kamailio and a robust background in AWS cloud services. This role is crucial for developing and managing scalable telecommunication systems that meet the complex needs of high-traffic environments. The role demands extensive experience with Kamailio. The candidate must have a deep understanding of SIP and be proficient with Redis, DMQ, and working with dialogues.

- Design, deploy, and manage AWS infrastructure with a focus on services like EC2, ECS, RDS, S3, Athena, and SQS.
- Develop and maintain CI / CD pipelines to ensure seamless deployment and management of code across various environments.
- Configure, optimize, and maintain VoIP applications such as Kamailio, Asterisk, and Freeswitch, ensuring high availability and performance in high-end user environments.
- Implement and manage Kubernetes clusters to orchestrate containerized applications efficiently.
- Apply security best practices throughout the infrastructure, manage IPtables, and ensure application security.
- Deep technical troubleshooting, including the analysis of PCAP files to address Level 3 technical challenges.
- Customize Linux distributions to support specific requirements of VoIP applications, focusing on network configurations, memory management, and system performance.
