Senior Graphic DesignerOverview :

Two Barrels is hiring a Senior Graphic Designer to join our team. This is a remote position. Our main office is in Spokane WA, and we have satellite offices in Austin TX and Salt Lake City UT. It's a traditional employee role with company benefits.

We are looking for a Senior Graphic Designer to help lead design projects and take initiative on large scale projects. This role will require someone who is collaborative and enjoys somewhat ambiguous projects.

The role works with a portfolio of many websites and an ever-expanding set of software tools, but they are all in-house projects (no external clients). Projects may include web designs / redesigns, app development, spot illustrations, iconography, logo / brand development, brand campaigns for social media and external channels, and graphic support on video and animation projects.

You will be able to draw on your skills and experience to do whatever you need to get the job done right. You should have an interest in researching to understand the users and visitors of these properties and think outside the box to raise the level of the projects you'll work on. Duration : Full Time

Wage : $90,000 - $95,000 / year DOE

Responsibilities : Collaborate with the Art Director and Creative Director to interpret long term strategies and company needs into dynamic, modern creative that accomplishes our goals.Take a proactive lead on high-visibility, high profile projects within the organization, developing multiple design directions and leading non-design collaborators through iterative processes of feedback and refinement.Lead by example and provide mentorship to other members of the Design Team and the greater Creative Team (design, video, communications).Monitor design trends in color, UI, typography etc and leverage them to meet or exceed user expectations in interface and collateral design.Design web & mobile UI, illustration, infographics, logo & brand identity, and presentations, as well as developing branding systems, style guides and other design resources.Represent the Design & Creative Teams on cross-functional projects, asking clarifying questions, managing project tickets, and pushing back when necessary.Minimum Qualifications : Bachelors or Associates degree in Design and / or relevant work experience7 years experience in a digital design positionProvide a portfolio with your most creative designsAdvanced knowledge of Adobe CS products, with an emphasis on Photoshop and Illustrator Custom graphic creation, not just manipulation1 year of experience with Figma or XDAdvanced understanding of Sketch, Procreate and CanvaHTML / CSS knowledge and experienceAbility to produce quality work on aggressive timelinesAbility to have open mind with stakeholder requests, juggle priorities and pivot when neededWillingness to work through group discussions and design solutions, not just graphics.
