What are the responsibilities and job description for the Culinary Team Member position at Two Bees Cafe + Patisserie?
We are hiring a passionate and motivated cook who enjoys a fast paced- dynamic workload. This role combines working on the line and prepping the cafe menu.
This fast-paced position will have you bouncing between prepping our savory menu, which is made from scratch, and plating breakfast, lunch and cheese/charcuterie boards. This position will work best for a person who is able to accept constructive feedback and is willing to adapt, move quickly, and stay focused throughout the day all while being observant, detail oriented and ready to interact with our guests. If you are a great multitasker, enjoy a dynamic workload, and want to learn more, this will be a great fit. 1 year of kitchen experience is required.
Duties Include:
Prep recipes with attention to detail and accuracy, following standardized recipes.
Maintain personal and professional cleanliness. Maintain a clean and safe work area and follow food safety and sanitation standards.
Prepare and plate menu items with precision and care, checking for quality and freshness of ingredients before every shift.
Greet and answer questions from guests about our menu. Deliver food to guests with a warm and gracious demeanor.
Willingness to be cross trained- performing all kitchen duties from assembly to break down.
Eager to learn about food and beverages through ongoing training with openness to feedback.
Support your team by proactively maintaining clean and organized service, seating, dish room, and bathroom areas. Restock and refill ingredients as needed. Take out trash, recycling and compost. Execute all opening and closing procedures.
Monitor station inventory levels. Use open lines of communication in the kitchen especially regarding inventory, prep and interpersonal
Accommodate guests requests and allergy protocols with care.
Full time candidates must be available Tuesday-Saturday.
Must be able to lift 50lbs and stand for long periods of time.

Pay: $15.00 - $22.00 per hour
