And could use your expertise to help us become the new standard in consumer underwriting.Please note that we require all full-time employees to work from our office in San Francisco, CA.Role Overview Reporting directly to our Co-Founder and CEO, Two Dots is looking for an Accountant to join our small, but growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for handling general accounting duties, including the monthly close process, managing accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR), and ensuring accurate financial reporting. This role requires a thorough understanding of accounting principles and practices, and the ideal candidate will hold experience in both public accounting and in-house corporate environments.Key Responsibilities Oversee the monthly close process, ensuring all financial statements are accurate and completed in a timely mannerManage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) functions, including the timely processing of invoices, payments, and collectionsPrepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and general ledger maintenanceAssist with financial reporting and ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirementsIdentify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions to enhance the efficiency of accounting operationsSupport strategic finance projects, including financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and ad-hoc financial initiatives as neededDesirable Traits Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field with CPA certification4-7 years of experience in an Accounting role, preferably with a combination of experience in both a Big 4 and in-houseStrong understanding of GAAP, and experience with Quickbook, Microsoft Excel, and other financial toolsStrategic thinker with the ability to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environmentExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of explaining complex financial information in an understandable wayA proactive, curious mindset with a relentless pursuit of excellence and innovation in tackling complex problemsHungry for personal and professional growth and ready to scale with Two Dots!What You Get In Return An opportunity to revolutionize the real estate leasing industry and own projects that make a tangible impactAn environment with a work culture that is based on trust, ownership, flexibility, and a growth mindsetA competitive salary, comprehensive equity package, and substantial benefitsClosing Two Dots is an equal opportunity employer.
