Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs
- Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes in health status
- Provide patient observation to ensure safety and well-being
- Assist with mobility and lifting clients as needed
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients
- Support long-term care plans and collaborate with healthcare professionals
- Foster positive relationships with clients while respecting their rights and dignity
Experience
- Familiarity with patient monitoring techniques and vital sign assessment is advantageous
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations
- Ability to lift and assist clients safely while promoting their independence
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare teams
