**Position Overview:**
Two Guys from Italy, a family-owned Italian restaurant with over 35 years of serving the Homosassa community, is seeking a responsible and personable Delivery Driver. You will play a key role in delivering our delicious food to customers, ensuring a great experience from the moment they place their order to when it arrives at their doorstep. As a Delivery Driver, you will be an ambassador for our restaurant, providing excellent customer service and adhering to the highest standards of safety on the road.
Responsibilities:
- Safely and promptly deliver food orders to customers using your own vehicle.
- Ensure your vehicle is in good working condition with no major cosmetic damage.
- Represent Two Guys from Italy in a positive, professional manner while interacting with customers.
- Follow all road laws and practice safe, defensive driving at all times.
- Assist the kitchen staff with side tasks, such as helping the dishwasher or other duties, when not on delivery runs.
- Maintain excellent communication with the restaurant to ensure timely delivery and service.
- Be punctual, reliable, and maintain a clean driving record.
- Provide excellent customer service with a friendly and positive attitude.
Requirements:
- Must use your own vehicle for deliveries. The vehicle must be in good working condition and free of major cosmetic damage.
- Clean driving record with a valid driver’s license.
- Full insurance coverage on your vehicle.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly personality.
- Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently as part of a team.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and help with side work while waiting for deliveries.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
Compensation:
- Hourly wage tips.
- $5 per delivery completed.
