Duties
- Greet and seat guests promptly upon arrival, ensuring a pleasant dining experience.
- Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently to optimize seating arrangements.
- Take customer orders accurately and enter them into the POS system.
- Process payments and handle cash transactions with precision.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area.
- Provide information about menu items, specials, and restaurant policies to guests.
- Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly, ensuring high levels of guest satisfaction.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth service flow.
Experience
- Previous experience in guest services or customer service roles is preferred.
- Familiarity with food service operations is a plus, particularly in a restaurant setting.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact positively with guests and team members alike.
- Knowledge of Future POS or similar point-of-sale systems is advantageous but not required; training will be provided.
