We are looking for two individuals (one per shift): 2nd Shift & 3rd Shift. We are looking for previous experience in Training/Safety and some payroll experience for this Production Supervisor position.
Job Summary/Purpose : The Production supervisor works on site and reports directly to the Two Hawk Employment Services Branch Manager supervising a minimum of 50 or more Two Hawk Employment Services Employees who are assigned to various jobs at the work site. Supervisory duties are carried out in accordance with all client and Two Hawk policies and procedures with day-to-day directives communicated by both the Two Hawk Employment Services Branch Manager and by the business unit management. The Production Supervisor responsibilities include monitoring employee output to ensure production and quality is meeting client expectations, conducting accident investigations and completing required workers’ compensation reporting, performing administrative duties to ensure timecard and payroll accuracy, completing personnel records to include attendance reports and employee status reports We need 2nd and/or 3rd shift Production Supervisor.
Essential Job Duties :
Emphasis on Training and Safety for this position
- Interacts with the customer or facility supervisors or representatives on a daily basis, promptly responding to all inquiries or directives in a courteous and efficient manner. Maintains an open line of communications.
- Supervises all on-site Two Hawk Employment Services employees ensuring that all company and client policies, rules, procedures, and directives are being followed.
- Receives job orders and accurately communicates to the Branch Manager specific customer requirements. Follows up on job placements to ensure full conformance to customer requirements. Reports any assignment deficiencies to Branch Manager.
- Constantly walks the production floor areas where employees are assigned, interacts with employees and area supervisors, to assess employee satisfaction with job assignment and customer satisfaction with work being performed.
- Monitors employee work performance to assess the need for retraining, reassignment, discipline, or commendation.
- Tracks employee absences and responds quickly to fill open assignments by contacting alternates.
- Works with facility or client supervisor to make necessary adjustments whenever an reduction or transfer of personnel is required during the
- Updates attendance sheets daily to reflect active employees, terminations and quits. Completes appropriate documentation to communicate activity to Branch Manager.
- Provides information to employees concerning work schedules, policies and procedures, safety, payroll, and benefits.
- Provides employee count, daily activity and operations feedback to the Two Hawk Branch Manager.
- Responds quickly to requests for information from the Two Hawk Branch Manager, Two Hawk employees, or customer representatives.
- Listens and responds to employee suggestions and complaints, and assists in the resolution of employee conflicts.
- Provides employee discipline or commendation when required.
- Performs periodic safety inspections of work areas and ensures compliance with Federal, state, and local safety laws and regulations.
- Participates in accident investigations, job hazard studies, safety meetings, and promotions ensuring that required documentation is completed accurately and submitted on time.
- Assists with the development of safety, health, and wellness
- Monitors office and personal protective (PPE) supplies and contacts the Branch Manager when additional equipment is needed. (The knowledge, skills, and attitudes required for satisfactory job performance.)
