Catawba Two Kings Casino is searching for a Cage Manager to join our team. In this role you will oversee all areas of the Cage, Main Bank and Sportsbook to ensure that all state, federal, and Company procedures are followed.
Description Summary
Under the direction of the Director of the Cage & Sportsbook Operations, the Cage Manager will play a critical role in ensuring seamless operations in the Cage Departments. The Cage Manager assists with supervising and directing the Cage, Main Bank and Sportsbook departments’ day-to-day operations. In addition to supervising all cage supervisors, main bank cashiers and cage cashiers in the performance of their duties to ensure that all guests have an exceptional guest service gaming experience. All duties are to be performed within the guidelines of the Catawba Indian Nation Gaming Authority policies and procedures, Internal Control Standards, and objectives.

Supervisory Responsibilities And Essential Tasks
- Is a leader within the Cage or finance-related role within the casino operations field, with the proven ability to lead and motivate teams in a fast-paced, high-staking environment.
- Maintains working knowledge of Cage and Sportsbook operations internal functions,
- Possess a strong understanding of gaming regulations, internal controls, and financial security.
- Responsible for providing support, guidance, and daily supervision to staff in the Cage, Main Bank and Sportsbook.
- Must have exceptional cash-handling abilities, attention to detail, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ensures customer service standards are followed by all team members and handles guest service and employee related issues with composure and professionalism.
- Investigate and resolve customer complaints and issues as they arise.
- Monitor the cage supervisors, cage cashiers and the main bank.
- Ensure all staff are trained and follow CTR and SARC procedures; responsible for making sure all required work is completed and reported in accordance with established compliance procedures.
- Conducts investigations and submits responses pertaining to Reports of Exceptions found.
- Maintains appropriate staffing levels, approves time off (vacations, personal, etc.), and
- reviews performance on an ongoing basis for Supervisors.
- Formulate, direct, and participate in the development and implementation of goals and
- objectives for the department.
- Supervise, train, schedule and evaluate performance of Cage and Sports Book personnel.
- Review and monitor documents and transactions to ensure compliance with gaming regulations, company policies and procedures.
- Work as a supervisor, cashier and/or in main bank as needed.
- Perform any reasonable, temporarily assigned job duties outside the position’s job description, where, in the Company’s judgment, those duties are necessary in the interest of efficiency, productivity, or guest service.
- Consistently maintains professional rapport and confidentiality in communicating with other departments as required by procedures (i.e., IT, Security, HR, Surveillance etc.).

- A bachelor’s degree in Business Management is preferred.
- Three (3) years of Cage Management experience with Manager level casino experience prefer. * 2 years of casino experience and knowledge in all Cage Bank and Sportsbook operations or be able to learn the Sportsbook Operation.
- Ability to design, implement, monitor, and audit documentation of all Cage transactions and changes to Cage accountability.
- Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal forms.
- Must be proficient in computer knowledge to include keyboarding skills, all Microsoft Office applications, email usage, and database, spreadsheets, and word processing software.
- Ability to create excel reports, format data, insert formulas, pivot, etc.
- Organizational skills to function effectively under time constraints, attention to detail, effective training, coaching and strong leadership qualities.
- Ability to multi-task and work well in a fast paced, team-oriented environment.
- Ability to make sound decisions immediately without supervision.
- Perception and awareness of individual needs and the ability to manage all situations calmly and professionally.
- Flexible working all shifts including holidays, nights, weekends, and overtime as business needs dictate.
- Must have the ability to interact with guests, staff and colleagues and resolve problems and conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
- Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age.
- Must be able to obtain a Gaming License.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
- Frequent stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms.
- The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to fifty (50) pounds.
- While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to talk and hear.
