What You’ll Do
- Drivers safely operate moving truck, perform daily truck inspections and complete paperwork with customers
- Provide positive energy and top-notch service
- Safely move, pack, and unpack customer belongings
- Be on time. Be friendly. Be safe. Hustle!
- Provide feedback and best practices to team on lifting techniques, customer service practices, safety standards, DOT processes, etc.
- Assist with dispatch when needed
- Follow up with the Operations Manager on those who have passed training along with any strengths or weaknesses that are foreseen
- Meet with claim specialist to review current damage trends to see what needs to be focused more on from initial training
- Communicate regularly with management staff to discuss team members’ performances and improvement opportunities
- Help create a positive “can do” workplace environment that is customer focused
- Focus on positive performance practices while holding team accountable to standards of performance and policy compliance
- Reinforces team approach and supports and solicits input from team members at all levels
Who We’re Looking For
- Driver candidates – 21 years or older, have a valid driver's license and safe driving record
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items (75 lbs. or more) while climbing stairs, balancing, walking
- Stamina – you won’t find a workout like this anywhere else!
- Must be willing to submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Experience as a non-CDL driver or in general labor, landscaping, construction, production, manufacturing, factory, assembly or warehouse is helpful but not required!
