We're seeking a talented and motivated Location Manager to join our growing TWO MEN AND A JUNK TRUCK® franchise. This role is responsible for carrying out the day-to-day franchise activities to meet established operating goals, standards, sales, and profits in a safe work environment.

What You’ll Do
- Promotes and protects the TWO MEN AND A JUNK TRUCK® brand in a professional manner
- Help develop brand recognition in the community
- Responsible for rolling out and supporting new policies, processes and procedures
- In charge of creating a safe work environment through leading, updating, and developing safety
- Lead, direct, and work alongside staff to ensure communication, performance, attitude, attendance, and work ethic to accomplish company goals; responsible for team development and motivation
- Interview, hire, and oversee new employee onboarding and training
- Employee scheduling, dispatch of haulers and drivers, and daily record-keeping
- Responsible for being an “on-call” emergency contact for haulers, drivers, and operations management outside of normal business hours
- Must be able to calmly and professionally handle customers and difficult situations, while providing next steps and solutions in a timely manner
- Participates in regular training and development programs offered locally or online; May occasionally attend in-person training to develop personal and professional skill sets further
- Responsible for employee development, accountability, and corrective action programs
- Coordinate and direct fleet maintenance and equipment inventory
- Ensure compliance with all DOT regulations and FMCSA guidelines
- Implement and maintain proper use of electronic logging devices
- Continually maintain a thorough understanding of all company products, services, and promotions
- Assists in day-to-day organizational and clerical support tasks
- Daily traveling in company vehicles to ensure customer and staff expectations are being met
- Warehouse management
- All other duties assigned
Who We’re Looking For
- Highly motivated and driven individual
- High school diploma or GED required; some college preferred
- Experience in management roles, leadership positions, or other relevant fields required
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
- Project management skills
- Oral and written comprehension and communication skills
- Organizational and time management skills, ability to multi-task
- Demonstrated ability to lead by example to motivate, develop, and direct people
- Must be able to manage effectively when faced with difficult situations
- Ability to assess the performance of self, employees, and franchise to make improvements or take corrective actions
- Strong decision-making ability and problem-solving skills
- Understanding of and commitment to customer service and the TWO MEN AND A JUNK TRUCK® core values
- Must be proficient with computers and using technology to improve compliance, safety, and performance of the franchise location
