Responsibilities
- Daily crew logistics, crew management, dispatch of move crew, check crews in upon return to the office
- Determine staffing requirements and facilitate the hiring process
- Lead mover/driver training; responsible for team development and motivation
- Promote safety and uphold safety procedures and policies; ensure compliance with all Department of Transportation regulations and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration guidelines
- Serve as the “on-call” contact for ongoing moves outside of normal business hours (as needed)
- Complete performance audits during moves to ensure safety and customer and employee satisfaction
- Assist Customer Care manager with the damage resolution process
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required, some college preferred
- Driver’s license with good driving record
- Strong supervisory skills
- Highly organized and detail oriented; ability to multi-task
- Strong decision making and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication skills
- Commitment to customer service and the TWO MEN AND A TRUCK core values
- Physical stamina to assist with lifting/carrying 100 lbs. or more
- Proficient with the following Microsoft applications: Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Proficient with the following Google Suite applications (Sheets, Docs, Drive, Etc.)
- Willing to submit to a pre-employment background check and random drug screens
Work is generally performed in an office setting with no unusual hazards, however, occasional lifting of up to 100 pounds may be necessary. Local travel in a company vehicle may be required.
