Summary
The Sales Manager is responsible for leading, training, and motivating the sales team to achieve exceptional results while maintaining superior customer satisfaction. This role involves setting sales goals, developing strategies, and driving the team to exceed expectations. The Sales Manager will oversee all aspects of the sales process, ensuring alignment with TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® system standards, and will work closely with the team to maximize revenue and minimize operational costs.
Responsibilities/Tasks
- Sales Leadership:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed company goals.
- Establish and communicate clear sales objectives to the team.
- Monitor key sales metrics, including conversion rates, closing percentages, and revenue growth.
- Team Development:
- Lead, train, and mentor the sales team to foster continuous improvement and professional growth.
- Provide ongoing sales coaching and training to ensure team members meet performance expectations.
- Motivate the team by promoting a positive and collaborative environment.
- Customer Relationship Management:
- Ensure the delivery of excellent customer service through oversight of customer interactions.
- Monitor customer communications and provide feedback to team members to maintain high standards of service.
- Address and resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally.
- Performance Management:
- Oversee the team’s performance by evaluating sales data, comment card scores, mystery shop results, and customer feedback.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide actionable feedback.
- Manage scheduling for the sales team to ensure appropriate coverage and efficiency.
- Process Optimization:
- Evaluate and improve sales processes, tools, and materials to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with management to identify opportunities for operational improvements.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge through workshops, industry publications, and networking.
- Reporting and Analysis:
- Develop and prepare monthly sales performance reports for executive leadership.
- Analyze data to identify trends and recommend strategies to capitalize on opportunities or address challenges.
- Additional Responsibilities:
- Perform sales consultations and move scheduling as needed.
- Closing jobs.
- Support other sales-related activities as deemed appropriate by the General Manager.
Supervisory Responsibilities
- Directly supervise the sales team, including Move Consultants and Customer Service Representatives.
- Ensure team compliance with company policies, procedures, and TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® standards.
Education/Experience
- Minimum 2 years of management experience in sales or customer service.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales goals.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Experience in a call center or customer service environment is preferred.

Work Environment
- Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls.
