We are a growing collection of tech experts (or Cool Nerds) dedicated to providing exceptional customer service and technical support to our clients. Currently, we are seeking a Computer Help Desk Level 1 Technician to join our team.
As Computer Tech Help Desk Level 1 Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance to our clients via phone, email or remote access. You will be helping clients with various computer-related issues, such as software problems, network connectivity, and hardware troubleshooting. You will collaborate with our experienced technicians to resolve issues and escalate more complex problems when necessary.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to customer inquiries and technical issues through phone, email, or in-person interactions
- Provide basic technical support for software applications, operating systems, and hardware components
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot software and hardware issues
- Follow up with customers to ensure that their issues have been resolved to their satisfaction
- Escalate complex issues to more experienced technicians as needed
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and technical issues
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required; an associate's degree or technical certification in a computer-related field is preferred
- Required to have 2 years of previous experience in a technical support role
- Must have knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems
- Must be strong in Microsoft Office, especially Outlook
- Knowledge of QuickBooks a plus
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills are essential
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Must be willing to learn new technologies and skills
