Reports to: Director of Marketing
POSITION OVERVIEW
The Marketing Sales Coordinator reports to the Director of Marketing and is responsible for both creating/cultivating new revenue streams and maximizing current revenue streams already in place. The Marketing Sales Coordinator will also track and report on ROI across all marketing platforms, collaborate with the Director of Marketing on sales projections for all campaigns and track and reconcile all departmental budgets and expenses. The Marketing Sales Coordinator must be highly organized, detail-oriented, able to handle multiple projects and deadlines and be able to work both collaboratively and on their own. The Marketing Sales Coordinator will communicate directly with vendors, contractors, community partners and businesses, the Marketing Campaign Specialist and the digital marketing team.
ABOUT TWO RIVER THEATER
Two River Theater produces a theatrical season that includes American and world classics, new plays and musicals, programs for young people, and festivals of new work. Each year, we also offer 40 events that reflect our diverse community of Red Bank, New Jersey. Two River produces work on two stages—the 350-seat Rechnitz Theater, and the flexible 110-seat Marion Huber Theater. The theater’s recently opened Center for New Work, Education and Design is a three-story facility that includes two rehearsal studios, artist labs, classrooms, expanded shops and centrally located offices. Two River Theater has commissioned and premiered original projects including Be More Chill by Tony Award nominee Joe Iconis and Joe Tracz (the theater’s first Broadway production) and Hurricane Diane by former Playwright-in-Residence Madeleine George (which won an Obie Award for its Off-Broadway run). In June 2019, Two River was nationally recognized by USA TODAY as one of “10 great places to see a play” across the U.S. Two River serves thousands of students and community members through arts and humanities programs at the theater, in schools and throughout its region. Two River Theater is led by Artistic Director Justin Waldman and Managing Director Nora DeVeau-Rosen and was founded in 1994 by Joan and Robert Rechnitz.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic input for both maximizing current revenue streams (including merch sales, Inside Two River event series, bar/concession sales and creating new ones;
- For Marketing campaigns, provide regular reporting on final gross potential and percentage to goal across ticket types (single tickets, subscriptions, groups, student matinees);
- Cultivate, track and process all Group sales, Playbill advertising sales, and Student Matinee sales;
- For all campaigns, provide a holistic report on ROI for all platforms, including website, emails, print and social media assets, both during and at the conclusion of campaigns;
- Spearhead monthly reconciliation of Marketing expenses against show and general budgets;
- Process and track all departmental invoices, payments and receipts, including departmental Amex account;
- Create, monitor and share results of post-show and post-event patron surveys;
- Maintain strong relationships with outside vendors including, but not limited to, mailhouses, printers, digital ad companies, billboard providers, radio stations, photographers, videographers, newspapers, magazines;
- Perform all work in a manner that is consistent with Two River’s core values, including our commitment to Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Access (IDEA), and contribute to the goal of creating a more equitable, diverse and inclusive organization by participating in various staff and organizational initiatives;
- Additional duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in marketing, hospitality and/or customer service;
- Comfortable with MSOffice suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams);
- Previous experience with non-profit arts and culture organizations preferred.
Annual Compensation: $52,000-$53,000. Benefits package includes medical, dental and vision insurance, flexible spending accounts, generous paid time off, an employee assistance program, local business discounts, and a 403 (b) retirement plan.
