Two Rivers Coop is looking for a Grain Elevator/ Feed Mixer!
Our Grain Elevator / Feed Mixer is critical to our customer service and Feed Mill operations. This position must be service-oriented, and knowledgeable about our feed products and services. Job Duties:
- Assist in making feed, bagging feed and loading and unloading of customer and supplier trucks
- Responsible on a daily basis for moving feed ingredients from warehouse to the mill for feed mixes
- Makes premixes for feed
- Weighs out drug premixes to formula requirements being careful not to spill material carelessly
- Maintain a daily drug usage log
- Log to include drugs received, shipped and used in mixing
- Other duties as assigned by the supervisor
- Job Qualifications:
- High school diploma or (GED) and related experience and/or training that would allow successful completion of the job
- Feed and/or feed mill experience is a plus
- Prompt and regular attendance
- Ability to pay attention to details, monitor work for accuracy, and manage multiple priorities
- This position will routinely lift 50 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds. This position may be exposed to weather, grain dust, fumes, and/or loud noise.
- The position is scheduled M-F and Saturday mornings. However, the workload is based on the customer’s needs and will fluctuate during peak seasons requiring additional hours.
