This position is responsible for individual and business development activities and strategies that promote core deposit growth by attracting new business and building relationships with new and existing customers. This position is responsible for providing timely and efficient service to the customer while adhering to all bank and regulatory guidelines. This position is responsible for Consumer Lending responsibilities and maintaining borrower relationships.

Internship Summary

SELECTION CRITERIA
- EDUCATION
- Candidate must be enrolled in a post-secondary Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business degree program with a GPA of 3.00 or better.
- SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software.
- Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality.
- Advanced interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a team-based environment.
- Proactive and driven, exhibiting a strong sense of initiative. A leader among peers.
- Ability to dedicate 25-35 hours per week to this intern program.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
- Engage with different segments of the bank for increased exposure and networking. These areas include business lending, credit analysis, portfolio management and treasury management.
- Build core sales and credit skills as you learn how businesses are essential to the growth and stability of our community.
- Gain a basic understanding of Two Rivers Bank & Trust business products and services.
- Exposure to all aspects of commercial loan process, including loan structure, collateral, credit analysis of financial statements, and documentation.
- Present your experiences and projects at the end of the internship.
- In-Office – Not Remote
- Paid Internship –Non-exempt
- Flexible schedule, 25-35 hours weekly, as approved by supervisor.
