Education And Work Experience
- 4-year degree in accounting, finance, business administration or related field. (Equivalent work experience will be considered in combination with, or in lieu of, educational requirements).
- Advanced experience in trust administration. 3-5 years of supervisory experience.
- Strong working knowledge of securities (stocks, bonds, CDs, cusips, dividends, interest, etc.).
- Knowledge of Trust regulations, compliance and other legal matters preferred.
- Trust Certifications preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, and the aptitude to use other computer programs.
- Experience with Cheetah software preferred.
- Ability to objectively evaluate team members; identify their strengths and apply them to the appropriate areas; and recognize any needs for improvement and professional development.
- Demonstrates leadership and relationship management skills with superior ability to execute using influence, negotiation, and consensus building.
- Must be detail oriented, have strong organizational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Professional demeanor in appearance, interpersonal relations, work ethic, and attitude.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Strategic Leadership
- Monitors market performance, analyzes financial data, and makes strategic recommendations to optimize revenue, control expenses and maximize profitability.
- Identifies opportunities for cross-selling and upselling financial products and services across all business lines, collaborating with business line leaders and ensuring alignment with Customer needs and organizational goals.
- Leads the instruction and consistent execution of service strategies to enhance the corporate customer service culture.
- Develops, implements, and maintains comprehensive policies, procedures and standards for wealth management staff for consistent regulatory compliance, and customer experience and service quality.
- Manages a diverse service group that consists of wealth management operations assistants.
- Provides information and ongoing feedback to department staff regarding expectations and performance and fosters a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Holds regular one-on-one meetings with team members and attends team meeting to provide a high level of support while also observing behaviors to provide applicable feedback.
- Collaborates with Human Resources to hire the most qualified and talented individuals to fill open positions.
- Collaborates with Human Resources to address and resolve all team member performance concerns and issues in a timely manner.
- Prepares and conducts team member professional development discussions, KPI reviews, and annual performance reviews in accordance with Human Resources policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Fosters a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
- Promotes a culture of outstanding employee performance through ongoing engagement and talent development to improve retention and build a roster of future leaders.
- Collaborates with the L&D Officer in training and retention of high-quality employees committed to a culture of delivering exceptional customer service.
- Actively participates in and encourages team member participation in community engagement through community involvement activities and networking opportunities to connect with local businesses, leaders and COI’s.
- Collaborates with wealth management officers and aligns Compliance/Internal Audit, Enterprise Risk Management, and other partners as appropriate, to create, enhance, and maintain current procedures for wealth management.
- Adheres to corporate policies, procedures, and regulatory banking requirements.
- Mitigates risks associated with wealth management activities and implements controls to safeguard the Bank’s reputation and assets. Ensures regular audits are conducted to assess compliance.
- Actively communicates matters of potential audit or compliance risk.
- Implements metrics and accountability measures and develops and presents performance reports to Senior Wealth Management Officer.
- Monitors key performance indicators (KPIs) related to sales, service quality, and customer satisfaction.
- Analyzes industry trends, and benchmarks against competitors to identify opportunities and threats.
- Effectively communicates with all stakeholders through written reports, presentations, or interactive discussions, and ensures transparency, accuracy, clarity, and alignment with the department’s overall goals and objectives.
