The Dyslexia Coordinator is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing programs and interventions for students with dyslexia. Key Responsibilities:
Program Development & Implementation: Develop and oversee dyslexia intervention programs in alignment with best practices and educational standards.
Assessment & Identification: Assist in screening and identifying students with dyslexia through research-based assessment tools.
Intervention & Support: Provide direct support and instructional strategies to students with dyslexia, ensuring individualized learning plans are effectively executed.
Training & Professional Development: Organize and conduct training sessions for teachers, staff, and parents on dyslexia awareness, instructional strategies, and intervention techniques.
Compliance & Reporting: Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding dyslexia intervention and support services. Maintain records and prepare reports as needed.
