Assistant General Manager

Two Robbers is expanding with a second retail location, The Lodge by Two Robbers, in South Philly. We're known for our spirits, canned cocktails and creative taproom experience, and The Lodge will continue that tradition with an elevated food program. We’re looking for an Assistant General Manager to join our team and assist with a mix of operational, managerial, and customer service tasks.

This is a high-impact role where you’ll play a key leadership role, supporting the General Manager  in managing the overall operations of the Two Robbers Fishtown and The Lodge. As the Assistant General Manager, you will:

• Assist in managing all daily operations of the bar, ensuring service standards are met and the bar runs efficiently.
• Assist with inventory control, ordering supplies, and managing stock levels to minimize waste.
• Lead, supervise, and motivate a team of bartenders, servers, and support staff to ensure a high level of performance during each shift.
• Provide ongoing training to staff on drink recipes, customer service, and safety procedures.
• Resolve staff conflicts, guest issues, and other operational challenges as they arise.
• Ensure excellent customer service by greeting guests, resolving complaints, and ensuring guests have a memorable experience.
• Offer support to staff during service, including FOH and BOH. 
• Step in for the GM in their absence, making decisions and handling emergencies as needed.
• Collaborate with GM on decisions related to menu changes, staffing, financial planning, and more.

• A hands-on, service industry veteran who thrives in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
• Experience leading a small but efficient Front of House team in a bar, restaurant, or fast-casual setting.
• Strong knowledge of bar operations, inventory management, and cost control.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required
• Passionate for hospitality and delivering exceptional customer service.
• Certification in Responsible Alcohol Service.  
• Strong operational mindset – you know how to balance creativity with profitability.

• Base Salary: $70,000
