Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Baker to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and a love for creating delicious baked goods. As a Baker, you will be responsible for producing high-quality baked goods while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and hygiene. This role requires attention to detail and consistency.
This is an early morning position.
More hours available for candidates able to take on additional baking and prep tasks.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and bake a variety of breads, pastries, cakes, and other baked goods according to established recipes.
- Monitor inventory levels of baking ingredients and supplies.
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and storage areas in compliance with health regulations.
- Assist in catering events as needed, providing baked goods that meet customer specifications.
Skills
- Proficient in culinary techniques related to baking and food production.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Excellent time management skills to meet production deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail in both baking processes and final product presentation.
- Ability to read and execute written recipes and task lists.
Must be able to regularly lift 50lb bags of ingredients.
