Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and exceptional customer service skills. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating an inviting atmosphere for our guests while efficiently serving beverages and food. You will play a crucial role in enhancing the overall dining experience.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and making recommendations.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and operating the cash register.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring all supplies are stocked and readily available.
- Assist with food handling and serving as needed, including banquet services during events.
- Operate the POS system (Aloha POS preferred) for order processing and payment transactions.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders.
- Monitor guest consumption levels to promote responsible drinking.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Bartender or in a similar role within a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred.
- Strong cash handling skills with the ability to perform basic math calculations accurately.
- Familiarity with food handling procedures and safety regulations.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of various drink recipes, cocktail preparation, and bar equipment is a plus.
- Must be of legal drinking age as per local regulations.
